There are a few billboards in Savannah that we, as communicators, cringe when we see. A certain offender has given rise to a lot of buzz. On President Street, the billboard with extensions and the line “We lick the competition” is our first target.
Starting in Oglethorpe Square (the square behind Jen Library) on Saturday, November 13, we, as concerned communicators and citizens, will unite in a march to this monstrosity that has plagued our community.
Advertising is not going anywhere, but if you feel strongly that educating the public is the best way to get the advertising we deserve as, well, human beings. Please join us.
